If curve 1 or 2 is selected, a PID calculation results in a lower actual output level than the linear
output requires. One of the nonlinear curves may be used when the response of the system to the
output device is nonlinear.

• High and low process and deviation alarms
• Alarm outputs
• Alarm/control behavior
• Alarm deadband
• Alarm delay
