8. Install a new gasket

lower case.
9. Install and tighten the bolts

NOTE:
• Apply grease to the inside of the water
pump housing before installation.
• To install the water pump housing, push
down on the pump housing, and then turn
the drive shaft clockwise.
Installing the lower unit
1. Set the gear shift to the neutral position
at the lower unit.
