3.7 Connecting to a PC
This drive is equipped with a USB port (Type-B).
The drive can connect to the USB port on a PC using a USB 2.0, AB type cable (sold separately). Use a USB repeater in
order to suppress the effect of electrical interference.
USB Repeaters with Confirmed Functionality:
• USB2-EXA50 (ELECOM)
• KB-USB-R205 (Sanwa Supply)
After connecting the drive to a PC, Yaskawa DriveWizard Plus MV can be used to monitor drive performance and
manage parameter settings. For details, refer to the instruction manual for DriveWizard Plus MV.
