Main Circuit Capacitor Neutral Point Potential Error
The P side or N side voltage in the DC bus has become unbalanced.
Cause Possible Solutions
The bus capacitor circuit has deteriorated or
there was a Power Cell fault.
• Replace the electrolytic capacitor.
• Check the balance resistance.
• Check the cable.
• Replace the cell control board.

Cause Possible Solutions
There is a self-diagnostic error in control circuit.
• Cycle control power to the drive.

Connector on the digital operator is damaged. Replace the digital operator.

A/D Conversion Error
An A/D conversion error or control circuit error occurred.
Cause Possible Solutions
Control circuit is damaged.
• Cycle control power to the drive.

EEPROM Memory Data Error
There is an error in the data saved to EEPROM.
Cause Possible Solutions
There is an error in EEPROM control circuit.
• Cycle control power to the drive.
• If the problem continues, replace the control board. For instructions on replacing it, contact
Yaskawa or your nearest sales representative.
The power supply was switched off while
parameters were being saved to the drive and the
communication option card was in use.
Reinitialize the drive (A1-03 = 2220).

Cause Possible Solutions
Hybrid IC failure on the power board
• Cycle control power to the drive.
• If the problem continues, replace the control board. For instructions on replacing it, contact
Yaskawa or your nearest sales representative.

Hardware is damaged.
• Turn off the power for the main circuit and controls and check the connection between the

on replacing the control board, contact Yaskawa or your nearest sales representative.
