Whenyoursystemwassetupbyyourinstaller,wirelesssensorswereplacedtomonitor
specificdoorsandwindows.Theinstallerselectedthesedoorsandwindowsaslikelyplaces
whereanunlawfulintrusionmightoccurandcouldbedetected.Eachsensorwas
progr ammedtoha vethesystemreactinaspecific
way.See"InstallerProgrammedOptions"
onpage40forspecificsabouteachsensor.
Somesensortypes(suchassmokedetectors,carbonmonoxidedetectors,panicbuttons,etc.)
arealwaysactiveandcantriggeranalarmatanytime.Othersensorsonprotecteddoorsand
windowsarepartofthebur glaryprotectionpartofthesystem,andcanbeturnedonoroff.
Turningontheburglaryprotectionpartofthesecuritysystemiscalled“ArmingtheSystem.”
Theburglaryprotectionpartofthesystemcanbearmedintwomodes:StaymodeorAwa y
mode.
