Ifanalarmoccurs,thesystemwilldelay
dialingforashorttimetoallowyouto
disarmthesystemincasethealarmwas
accidentallytripped.Thedialerdelay
reducesnuisancetraffictotheCentral
Stationandcanpreventreceivingfinesthat
manycitiesimposewhenpolicerespondtoa
fa
lsealarm.Yourinstalleralsocanprogram
thesystemfornodialerdelay.
NOTE: Thedi
alerdelayisalsoknownas
theabortwindow.Itgivesyoutime
todisarm,butdoesn’tdelaythe
sirenfromsounding.Disarming
duringtheabortwindowcan
displayacancelmessage
dependingontheCancelDisplay
