CALLING THE SYSTEM
Duringinstallation,yourinstallerselects
whetheryoursystemsupportstheremote
telephoneoptionornot.Ifthisfeatureis
enabled,thesystemrequiresyoutocall
twicewithin30secondsbeforeitanswers
yourcall.
1 Callthetelephonenumberthatthe
ControlPanelisconnectedto.Waitfor
oneortworings,thenhangup.
2 Within10‐45seconds,calltheControl
Panelagain.TheControlPanelanswers
thecall.

Talktoyourdealertoseeifyoursystemwas
installedwiththePOTSmodule.Onceyou
areconnectedwiththesystemviathe
telephone,youcancheckonsystemstatus
andremotelycontrolthemajorfunctions.
TIP: Theannouncementsthatthesystem
playsoverthetelephonedonotsound
outoftheCon
trolPanel’ sspeaker.
1 AftertheControlPanelanswers,itsasks
foryourusercode.Youhave15seconds
toenteryourusercodeusingthe
telephonekeys.Ifyoudon’tentera
validusercodein15seconds,the
systemdisconnectsthecall.
If2attemptsusing2telephonecallsto
enterausercodewithinafive(5)
minutetimeframefailtoenteravalid
code,thesystemdisconnectsanddoes
notrespondtotelephonecommandsfor
30minutes.
2 Afterthesystemhasacceptedyouruser
code,itannouncesthesystemstatus,
thentheremotecommandoptions.

eachremotecommandbefor e
automaticallydisconnecting.Ifyou
