To install the network driver:
1 Turn on the power to the PC.
2 In the Main window of the Program Manager, 
double-click the Control Panel icon and then the 
Network icon.
3 Click Add Adapter.
The Add Network Adapter window appears. 
4 Open the Network Adapter Card list box, and 
scroll down and select <Other> Requires disk 
from manufacturer. 
5 Click Continue.
The Insert Disk dialog box appears.
6 Insert the EtherCD in the CD-ROM drive. Make 
sure that d:\ appears in the entry box, where d:\ 
represents the letter name of the CD-ROM drive, and 
then click OK.
The Select OEM Option window appears.
7 Make sure that the name of the NIC is selected, and 
then click OK.
Files are copied. The Network Settings window appears. 
The name of the installed NIC appears in the list of installed 
adapter cards.
8 Click OK.
If the TCP/IP Configuration screen appears, enter the 
requested information for your network environment. 
Refer to your system administrator or the Windows NT 
documentation for assistance.
If the TCP/IP Configuration screen does not appear, the 
installation is complete. 
9 Restart the PC. 
The installation is complete. Go to the next section, 
“Verifying Successful Installation,” to confirm that the 
NIC is properly installed.
