The system is now set to monitor both voltage and temperatures to support the batter string voltage
imbalance and slope thermal compensation features. Figure 21 depicts a reserve system where every
battery in the string being monitored for temperature. Again, the highest temperature measured will
be used for battery thermal management. Only one temperature probe is required for thermal
compensation features.
