After 10,000 diverter valve switches.
Equipment List
• 9/64-inch hex key
• MS selection valve rotor seal
Steps
1 Stop the flow of LC solvent to the instrument.
2 Open the Calibrant Delivery System (CDS) door.
3 Make a note of which port is plumbed to which tubing & unplug all the
connections of MS selection valve.
4 Use the 9/64-inch hex key to remove the three hex head screws from the
stator face of the selection valve.
5 Remove the rotor seal and replace it with a new one. Be sure to install it in the
proper orientation.
6 Use the 9/64-inch hex key to fix the three hex head screws from the stator
face of the selection valve.
7 Plug in all the connections of the MS selection valve.
8 Close the CDS door.
