Starting the MassHunter Data Acquisition
Software
The instructions below include the following assumptions:
• The hardware and software are installed.
• The instrument is configured. For information on configuring your instrument,
refer to the MassHunter Control Panel online help.
• The LC modules and the Triple Quad LC/MS are turned on, but the LC pump is
not running.
After installation, all the Agilent MassHunter Workstation Software icons appear
on the desktop.
To start the MassHunter Data Acquisition program,
1 Double-click the Control Panel icon on the desktop, or select Windows Start >
Agilent Technologies > Control Panel.
2 In Control Panel, select an instrument and click Launch to open the project in
Acquisition. For more information, refer to the MassHunter Control Panel
online help or the Introduction Workbook.
