6. Startup & Commissioning
Before you start:
•
Slowly turn on water supply to avoid pressure boost.
• Let the hose from water outlet run to drain.
• Let the coiled 4 mm drain hose run to drain.
• Open outlet ball valve.
Power on:
• Turn on fuse F2.
• System will startup and open water inlet.
• Let the system run in this setting until all air is out of the membrane, approx. 3 -5 minutes.
• Read the hole setion before starting the pump.
• Turn on fuse F1, the pump will start.
Adjust membrane pressure:
• Adjust membrane pressure to 10 - 12 bar.
•
Make sure during setup that the membrane pressure is max. 13 bar.
Adjust drain hose:
• Go to the screen with production and drain ow.
• Adjust the drain ow by shortening the 4 mm drain hose cm by cm until the required drain
ow is reached:
• min. 30 % with softener
• min. 50 % without softener
• The higher the drain ow is, the longer the membrane lifetime

• Turn o fuse F1 and F2 .
• Reconnect the 4 mm drain hose.
• Close the outlet ball valve.
Normal run:
• Turn on fuse F1 and F2.
• Let the system run until it reaches the stop pressure, default 5 bar,
then it will do a hygiene ush.
• It will empty the pressure vessel down to the starting pressure, default 2 bar.
The pump will start again and ll the pressure vessel.
Check:
• When the pump runs:
Check pressure gauge, that the membrane pressure is 10-12 bar.
• When the pump stops:
Check that the production ow and drain ow values are OK.
• If not, make the adjustment again and go to next step.

• Take a water sample from the designated tab.
• Let the water run for 1 min. before taking the sample .
• Messure µS/cm.
Set ow limits:
• Setup the drain ow alarm limit. Recomended 5 % lower than min. required level.
• Setup the production ow alarm limit. Recomended 10 l/h above max. required output.
• Connect the 3/4” outlet hose to the humidication system.
•
Slowly open the outlet ball valve until it’s fully open.
