Take a water sample from the last nozzle on a string. • Let the system run for 2 min.
• Disinfect the test point nozzle with alcohol and fire.
•
Be aware of ATEX and fire regulations.
• Carefully avoid any contamination of the sample, fingers, dust etc.
• Use a bottle from an approved laboratory.
The test – accordingly with VDI 6022 guidelines. • Legionella – limit 100 KBE/ml
• 20 ⁰C bacteria - limit 1000 KBE/ml
• 36 ⁰C bacteria – limit 1000 KBE/ml
Should the test fail. • The reason for this need to be found and analyzed
• Proper preventive measures implemented
• See troubleshooting guide
A disinfection should be conducted if. • 2 consecutive bio tests show exceeding values.
Procedure for disinfection. • Follow all local rules and regulations.

• Measure and note the PH value of the mix.
• Remove a nozzle on the unit, furthest from the pump or if it splits in more
than one line, you have to remove the last nozzle on each line.
• Insert a 10mm sliplock fittings, and attach a 10 mm hose to a 5 or 10 l clear
