5.2.3 Emergency stop button.
Press the button to completely stop the machine and the engine. To resume normal operation of the
machine - depending on the position of the key selector - it is necessary to turn the button a quarter of
a turn clockwise so that the button is completely extracted.
5.2.4 Emergency Override Button with leaded protection.
This button (protected with lead sealing) is used for the emergency recovery of an incapacitated operator
through the use of the controls of the ground control station by temporarily disabling some safety controls
(e.g.: disabled operator and machine blocked due to overload).
To activate the button, break the blocked seal, open the lid and press it. Please refer to the description
of the manual emergency controls dealt with in the specific chapter of this manual.
Caution:
This button is used only for the recovery of an incapacitated operator in the event that the ground control
station is not enabled due to some active safety functions.
The use of this function requires the use of a tool to remove the protection. This removal represents an
assumption of responsibility by a ground operator to move the platform in the absence of certain safety
checks.
The activation of this function is timed in order to avoid abuse by the operator. Once the pre-set time
has elapsed, the button must be pressed again.
Do not use a machine that does not have the button cover plumbing.
5.2.5 Platform presence warning light.
If this light is on steady, it means that the platform is correctly installed and the machine can only be
used for lifting people.
If this light blinks, the platform is not installed correctly.
If this light flashes at the same time as the winch presence light, it means that neither the platform nor
the winch is present on the machine.
