To move the platform (ascents, descents,
rotations), the joysticks (1), (2), the switch (9)
and the selector (6) are used.
If you are in a condition in which the platform
movement commands are available (see
indications on the DISPLAY / LEDs), once the
commands have been activated using the START
button (13), and have selected the "LIFT"
operating mode by means of the selector (6), it
is possible to control the movement of the
platform as indicated in the following
paragraphs.
5.1.3.4.1 Ascent / Descent of the main arm.
To carry out the ascent / descent manoeuvre of the main arm, use the proportional joystick (1) by
operating it forward to obtain the ascent, or backwards to obtain the descent. The command is
proportional, so it is possible to modulate the manoeuvre speed by operating the joystick more or less in
depth.
The up / down command of the main arm can be commanded simultaneously with:
- Turret rotation (by operating the same joystick diagonally);
- Extension or retraction of the telescopic arm (joystick 2);
- Only for JIBBI 12xx and JIBBI 16xx: Up or down of the jib (switch 9).
Using the potentiometer (7) it is possible to vary the maximum control speed (ELC - LTH versions) or to
choose the rotation speed of the heat engine (versions with heat engine):
- Idle speed with potentiometer fully turned anticlockwise (-);
- Maximum speed with potentiometer fully turned clockwise (+).
N.B: on the JIBBI U-1570 model, the ascent / descent command of the main arm always takes place with
the engine at maximum speed, regardless of the condition of the potentiometer (7).
5.1.3.4.2 Rotation of the turret.
To perform the turret rotation manoeuvre, use the proportional joystick (1) by operating it to the right
to obtain counterclockwise rotation, or to the left to obtain clockwise rotation. The command is
proportional, so it is possible to modulate the manoeuvre speed by operating the joystick more or less in
depth.
The turret rotation command can be commanded at the same time as:
- Ascent or descent of the main arm (by operating the same joystick diagonally);
- Extension or retraction of the telescopic arm (joystick 2);
- Idle speed with potentiometer fully turned anticlockwise (-);
- Maximum speed with potentiometer fully turned clockwise (+).
