7.1.3 Emergency recovery with a manual pump.
7.1.3.1 Operator emergency recovery.
In the event of a power failure, to recover a blocked operator, a qualified operator on the ground must
use the manual controls activated by the manual pump in the manner described below.
The manual emergency controls are located on
the rotating turret:
1. Manual diverter;
2. Manual pump;
3. Manual pump lever;
4. Hydraulic block closing door;
5. Hydraulic block;
6. Red solenoid valve activation fork
To activate a manual command:
a. Remove the lever (3) and insert it on the
manual pump (2);
b. Open the closing door (4) to make the
hydraulic block (5) accessible;
c. Turn the manual switch (1) to position (A)
to activate the manual EXT / RETURN
control, or to position (B) to activate the
manual controls of all the other movements
of the arm.
d. Activate the solenoid valves (see
instructions below) and, at the same time,
activate the lever of the manual pump,
visually checking the correctness of the
movement, always activating the RETURN
of the telescopic arm as the first
manoeuvre.
To understand the correspondence between the manual control and the corresponding movement, pay
attention to the screen printing placed on the machine and represented in the following image.
To activate the movements indicated with (A), simply press the manual controls of the valves while
activating the manual pump.
To activate the movements indicated with (B) it is necessary to use the red fork (6): pull the ring of the
manual control with force towards the outside, and insert the red fork (6) as indicated in the image, then
activate the manual pump.
