1.5 Uses not permitted and "Disembarkation at high altitude".
Normal and permitted use of the machine is described in the previous paragraphs. Anything not described
as normal and permitted use is to be considered as not permitted use.
- It is forbidden to operate the work platform from the ground control station except for
emergency recovery operations.
- It is forbidden to operate the work platform with the control console outside the work platform
if there are operators on board; the control system is already configured to prevent such use
if there is a load greater than 20 kg on the platform.
- Since the MEWPs are designed to operate from the operating position on the platform, and the
only permitted access position is the one that foresees the platform on the ground, any activity
that involves accessing and / or abandoning the same with the platform in a position other
than that of access (the so-called "landing at height") is formally prohibited.
