In the TRANSPORT position, the turret rotation control stops automatically when it reaches the central
position (0° +/- 2°), in order to enable the TRACKS NARROWING command. To continue with the
manoeuvre, the proportional joystick (1) must be released and reactivated.
5.1.3.4.3 Extension / retraction of the telescopic arm.
To carry out the telescopic arm extension / retraction manoeuvre, use the proportional joystick (2) by
operating it forward to extract the arm, or backwards to retract the arm. The command is proportional,
so it is possible to modulate the manoeuvre speed by operating the joystick more or less in depth.
The telescopic arm extension / retraction control can be controlled simultaneously with:
- Ascent or descent of the main arm (joystick 1);
- Turret rotation (joystick 1);
- Only for JIBBI 12xx and JIBBI 16xx: Up or down of the jib (switch 9).
Using the potentiometer (7) it is possible to vary the maximum control speed (ELC - LTH versions) or to
choose the rotation speed of the heat engine (versions with heat engine):
- Idle speed with potentiometer fully turned anticlockwise (-);
- Maximum speed with potentiometer fully turned clockwise (+).
5.1.3.4.4 Rotation of the platform.
To carry out the platform rotation manoeuvre, use the proportional joystick (2) by operating it to the
right to obtain counterclockwise rotation, or to the left to obtain clockwise rotation. The command is
proportional, so it is possible to modulate the manoeuvre speed by operating the joystick more or less in
depth.
The platform rotation command cannot be performed at the same time as other commands.
Using the potentiometer (7) it is possible to vary the maximum control speed (ELC - LTH versions) or to
choose the rotation speed of the heat engine (versions with heat engine):
- Idle speed with potentiometer fully turned anticlockwise (-);
- Maximum speed with potentiometer fully turned clockwise (+).
5.1.3.4.5 Ascent / Descent of the jib.
To perform the jib ascent / descent manoeuvre, the switch (9) is used by operating it forward to obtain
the ascent of the jib, or backwards to obtain the descent. The command is ON-OFF, therefore it is not
possible to modulate the manoeuvre speed, which occurs at a fixed speed set in the factory.
Only for JIBBI 12xx and JIBBI16xx jib ascent / descent can be commanded simultaneously to:
- Turret rotation (joystick 1);
- Extension or retraction of the telescopic arm (joystick 2);
Using the potentiometer (7) it is possible to vary the maximum control speed (ELC - LTH versions) or to
choose the rotation speed of the heat engine (versions with heat engine):
- Idle speed with potentiometer fully turned anticlockwise (-);
- Maximum speed with potentiometer fully turned clockwise (+).
N.B: on the JIBBI U-1570 model, the up / down command of the jib always occurs with the engine at
maximum speed, regardless of the condition of the potentiometer (7).
5.1.3.4.6 Platform movement with DYNAMIC & PROACTIVE LEVELLING function.
The DYNAMIC & PROACTIVE LEVELLING functions are controlled by the selector (5). This automatic
function allows you to move the platform safely on sloping ground.
When the selector (5) is in the ON position, by activating any platform movement command:
- the machine automatically controls the levelling of the rotation plane of the fifth wheel in
order to always keep the extensible structure and the platform level;
