Depending on the side of the vehicle on which the sensor rod extension is used,
the entire sensor rod may have to be removed and re-inserted on the other side of
the vehicle.
- After releasing the wing nuts(5),the end section of the sensor rod extension(6)
can be set to desired length; the angle can additionally be changed by swiveling
on the joint(7).
- After loosening the wing nuts (8), the sensor rod indicator can also be set to
desired length.
Either the adjustable indicator or the chain can be used as an aid to orientation.
Tighten all assembly parts properly after setting up!
The sensor rod extension’s joint (7) can be mounted on both sides of the vehicle
in position (9).
At this point, the sensor rod extension can be swiveled for transporting the vehicle
without increasing the vehicle’s basic width.
