4. Offsetting the screed
Depending on the paving condition
requirements, the crossbeam can be
moved backwards or forwards.
This adjustment enlarges the material
space between the auger and screed.
- Loosen the four mounting screws (1).
- Remove the screws and move the vehicle
forwards.
- The crossbeam remains in its position on
slide rails: now tighten the screws(1) back
down.
When paving thin layers, the materialcan "settle" in front of the screed if the screed
is set to the rear position. When paving thin layers, the screed then climbs better.
