[13] Troubleshooting
If the unit seems to be defective, stop using it immediately, indicate on the unit that it is out of
order, and contact your local Atom representative.
Check the following points before requesting repair services.

Battery cannot be charged.

Check that the power cord is connected to the AC inlet and a pow-
er outlet.
z
Is the fuse in the AC inlet blown?
z
Has the power supply circuit breaker in your hospital tripped?
(Check the electrical continuity by connecting another electric de-
vice to the power outlet used for the incubator).
The unit does not operate when
using an external DC power
source.
z
Is the unit connected to an AC power source?
If the unit is connected to both AC and DC power sources, it oper-
ates on AC.
z
Has the source voltage decreased?
z
Is the DC power breaker tripped?
Incubator temperature does not
rise.
z
Is the incubator air temperature set too low?
z
Has the source voltage decreased?
(Do not share the AC outlet used for the incubator.)
z
Is the incubator installed in a place exposed to strong wind or in a
low ambient temperature environment?
z
Is the fan correctly installed? Is the fan free of damage or deforma-
tion?
z
Are the admittance panel and access ports are firmly closed?
z
Are the snap-open access ports closed?
z
Are all packings correctly attached?
z
Check that the air outlets in the incubator are not blocked by ob-
jects such as a diapers, gauze, etc.
The incubator air temperature
rises too high.
z
Check that the incubator air temperature is not set too high.
z
Check that the incubator is not exposed to direct sunlight or af-
fected by a nearby heating apparatus.
z
Check that the air inlet in the incubator is not blocked by obstacles
such as a diaper, gauze, etc.
