Incasethevolumeofthe‘Slave’outputshouldbehigherthanthevolumeofthe‘Master’
zone,thefadershouldbemovedupwards(positive)whilethefadershouldbemoved
downwards(negative)incasethevolumeofthe‘Slave’outputshouldbelowerthanthe
volumeofthe‘Master’output.Incasethefaderisincentralposition(zero)thevolumeof
theMasterandSlavezonewillbeequal.

Besidestheseparatescenesmakingitpossibletorecallallmixingpresetsforonesingle
output,there’salsothepossibilitytogroupmultiplepresets(foralloutputs)into‘Global
Scenes’.Usingthe‘GlobalScenes’,Mixingpresetsforalloutputscanberecalledbyone
singleclickoraction.TheM2providesthepossibilityforcreatingupto8globalscenes.
Globalscenescanbetriggeredbyexternalsignalssuchasoneofthevariouscontact
inputs,atthepresenceofanaudiosignalononeofthemanyaudioinputs,whenmanually
triggeredbyacommandorwhenselectedinthedropdownlistintheuserinterface.

Foreachscene(GlobalScene1to8)aselectiontabisprovidedonthetopofthis
window.Eachtabcontains8sections,oneforeveryoutput,containingtwodropdownlists
(InputandVolume).
Input
Usingthe‘Input’dropdownlist,thedesiredsignaluponsceneactivationcanbeselected
forthecorrespondingoutput.Thestandardvalueissetto‘Don’tchange’meaningthe
signalforthecorrespondingoutputwon’tchangeuponsceneactivation.Incase‘Off’
isselected,theoutputwillbeswitchedoff.Incaseoneoftheaudioinputs(Direct,Wall
panelorFiber)willbeselected,theselectedsignalwillbepresentattheoutput.Thelast8
selectableoptionsarethescenes,whicharethemixingpresetswhichcanbeindividually
definedforeachseparateoutputandcanberecalledusing‘Globalscenes’.
