♦ Piston resetting appliance - T10145-
Note
♦ On vehicles with a 16" brake system, the brake carrier must
be removed prior to removing the brake discs
♦ Check brake discs and renew if necessary.
Removing the brake carrier:
– To remove the bottom bolt connection of the brake carrier use
interchangeable head - T40065- on the left side and inter‐
changeable head - T40066- on the right side.
Installing
Steel version brakes:
When renewing the brake pads, also check the brake disc for
wear. Refer to wear limit for brake disc.
– Check brake disc ⇒ “1.2 Brakes, technical data”, page 1 .
Ceramic brakes:
The ceramic brake discs must always be checked for damage and
wear when renewing the brake pads.

– Check brake disc.
All vehicles (continued):
Use only methylated spirits to clean the brake caliper housing.
– Insert pad retaining springs.
