Day/night map
Day/ Night: the map is displayed with a light/
dark background.
Automatic : when the lights switch on, the map
colors sw itch from day to night .

Map orientation
Navigation
Destination : the map indi cates the des t ination
and is ori ented to the north.
2D - heading up / 2D north position map : the
current vehicle position is displayed. The map is
oriented in the direction of trave l or to t he no rt h.
3D
position map : when this function is switched
on , t he current ve hi cle posit ion is shown on a
thr ee -dimensional map and orie nt ed in th e direc-
tion of tr avel. At a scale of 62 mil es ( 100 km) and
lar ge r, t he map is ori ented to the n ort h.
Overview: the entire route from the vehicle posi-
tion to the destination or the next stopover is dis-
played on
the map. The map scale depen ds on
the length of the route and adapts automatically.
The
map is oriented to the north.
Route information
The display of route information such as the cur-
rent road being driven on , upcoming maneuvers,
traffic information
or points of i nteres t along the
r
oute can be switched on/off.
Auto zoom
On : th e map scale is adapted automatica ll y de-
pending on t he type of road being traveled (ex-
pressway,
hi ghway, ot h er roads) so t hat you al-
ways have an opt i
mal overview of th e road ahead.
Th e scale is also automatica ll y adapted when
t h
ere are upcoming mane uvers to provide a bet -
ter detailed view.
Off: the map scale you have chosen is kept.
Map content
Map cont ent, such as traffic information, favor-
ites
or restaurants , can be displayed or hidden
(g).
