Light s and Vision
Canada models: this f unction cannot be switched
off . They activate automatica lly each time the ig-
ni tion is switched on . This menu item is shown
with a "gray background".
Comi ng home, Lea vi ng home
The com ing home function ill um i nates the area
outside the vehicle when you turn the ignition off
and open the driver's door . To switch on the func -
tion, select Entry/ ex it lighting.
The l eav ing home illu minates the ar ea o ut si de
the vehicle when you unlock the vehicle. To
switch
on the function, select Entr y/ e xi t light-
ing.
The com ing home and leaving home fu nctions
only operate when it is dark and the lig ht switch
is in
the AU TO position.

The emergency flashers makes other drivers
aware of yo ur vehicle in dangerous sit uat i ons .
• Pr ess the ~ button to switc h the eme rgency
flashers on or off.
You can indicate a
lane change or a turn when the
em e rgency flashers are sw i tched on by using the
tur n sign al lever. The emergency flashers st op
tempo r ar i ly.
The emergency flashers also work whe n the igni-
tion is tur n ed off.
(!) Tips
You sh ou ld switch the emergency flashers on
if:

- You are the l ast car in a traffic jam so that
all other vehicl es approaching from behind
can see you, or if
- Your vehicle
has br oken down or you are
having
an emergency, or if
- Your vehicle is
bein g towed or if you are
towing another vehicle.

contro lled automatically.
A switch is no longer needed to switch the read-
ing lights on . A swiping movement or a brief tap
on the light is all that is needed to switch the
li ght on or off. If you hold your finger on the
r ead ing li ght when switching it on, this can dim
the light dow n to a certai n level.

are availabl e. Several functions can be set in the
Infotainment system . Select in the Infotai n ment
system: I MENU l button > Vehicle > left contro l
