the
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
indicator appears
The tire pressure indicator
in
the
instrument
cluster informs you
if
the tire pressure is too low
or
if
there is a
system
malfunction.
Using
the
ABS
sensors, t he
tire
pressure moni
tor
-
ing
sys
tem compares
the
tire
tread circumfer-
ence and vibration char
ac
teristics
of
t
he
individu-
al t ires.
If
the pressure changes in one
or
more
tires,
this
is indicated
in
the
Infotainment
system
display
wit
h
an
indicator
light
RI
and a message.
If
only one t ire
is
affected,
the
location
of
that
tire
will
be indicated.
The
tire
pressures
must
be stored in
the
Infotain-
ment
system
aga
in
eac
h
time
the
pressur
es
change (switching between
partial
and
fu
ll
load
pressure) or
after
changing or replacing a t ire on
your
