5.3 DHCP Relay
The DHCP relay operation mode allows the MSBR to relay and forward DHCP packets
between different Layer-3 network segments, and between different interfaces.
Command Description
MSBR# configure data
Enters the data configuration menu.
(config-data)# interface VLAN 1
Selects an interface to configure.
(config-if-VLAN-1)# ip dhcp-server
1.1.1.1
Configures the IP address of the DHCP server
from which to relay messages.
