Recommended Use of HD BNC Cables
HD BNC cables are capable of transmitting high resolution video from an imager module to the main unit
while also powering the imager module. For optimal performance of the HD BNC cable and to reduce signal
degredation, the cable should never be bent or curved any less than a 0.5" (12.7 mm) radius circle.
One connector on each HD BNC cable is IP66 rated for protection from dust and water ingress. The IP66
connector should be used with the micro bullet imager to set up an IP66 rated, weather-protected connection
for that imager.
The non-IP rated end of the HD BNC is used to connect to the main unit, which should be installed in a dry
and secure location.
Note: Only the micro bullet imager is IP66-rated. The right angle imager should be installed in a dry
and secure location.
