Guaran tee and Compensation
Barco provides a guarantee relating to perfect man ufacturing as part of the legally stipulated terms of guarantee. On receipt, the purchaser
must immediately inspect all delivered goods for damage incurred during transport, a s well as for material and manufacturing faults Barco
must be informed im mediately in wr iting of any complaints.
The period of guarantee begins on the date of transfer of risks, in the case of special systems and software on the date of c omm issioning,
at latest 30 days after the transfer of risks. In the ev ent of justified notice o f complaint, Barco can repair the fault or provide a replacement
at its own discretion within an appropriate period. If this m easure p roves to be impos sible or unsuccessful, the purchaser ca n deman d a
reduction in the purchase price or cancellation of the contract. All o ther claims, in particular th ose relating to compensation for direct or
indirect damage, and also damage attributed to the operation of s oftware as well as to other services provided by Barco, being a component
of the system or independent service, will be deemed invalid provided the dam age is n ot pro ven to be attributed to the absence of properties
guaranteed in writing or due to the intent or gross negligence or part of Barco.
If the purchaser or a third party carries out m odifications or rep
airs on go ods delivered by B arco, or if the goods are ha ndled inc orrectly,
in particular if the s ystem s are o perated incorrectly or if, after the transfer of risks, the goods a re subject to influences not agreed upon in
the contract, all guaran tee claims of the purchaser will be r endered invalid. N ot included in the guarantee co verage are system failures
which are attributed to programs or special electronic cir
cuitry provided by the purchaser, e.g. interfaces. Normal wear as well a s normal
maintenance are n ot subject to the guarantee p rovided by Barco either.
The environmental conditions as well as the servicing and maintenance reg ulations specified in this manual m ust be complied w ith by the
customer.

and BA RCO reserve all rights not expressly granted to you. You may own the carrier on wh ich the Software is provided, but the Software
is o wned and copyrighted by B ARC O or by third party suppliers. Your license confers no title or ownership and is not a sale of any rights
in the Software or its documentation.
By installing, ex ecuting and/or using the Softw are, either as initial version or a s an upgrade, update, patch or enhancement of a prior
release, this Software License shall supersede any terms and conditions previously ag reed upon (whether or not in writing) between Barco
and you with respect to the subject m
atter of this Software License and such previous terms shall from the date hereof ceas e to have any
force or effect; provided, however that this Software Licens e shall not be construed as a renunciation, discharge or waiver of an y right or
remedy provided in any terms and conditions previously agree d upon with respect to a failure of e ither par ty to perform any of its obligations
under any terms and conditions p
