9 Installation requirements

The module is intended for indoor use only.
The module should be installed on a level surface, in an area that is free from undue vibration,
high humidity, dust, temperature extremes, and corrosive or explosive vapors or gases.
The module should not be placed in direct sunlight, near a heat source, or in the direct line of
air flow from air conditioning vents.
Environments which exceed these limits could adversely affect the performance of the
instrument components.
The module requires a network connection through either:

A network switch inside the Track main base cabinet
l
A direct connection with the System Control Unit (SCU)
The module is to be installed and moved by BD representatives only.
WARNING
THE MODULE MUST BE ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED TO EARTH-GROUND AT
ALL TIMES. TO ENSURE THAT THE POWER CORDS HAVE THE REQUIRED
ELECTRICAL CURRENT RATINGS, ONLY USE THE CORDS SUPPLIED WITH THE
UNIT OR AS PROVIDED BY BD.
WARNING
THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERY IS ONLY TO BE REPLACED BY BD
AUTHORIZED SERVICE PERSONNEL. THE REPLACEMENT BATTERY IS TO BE
AN IDENTICAL PART ONLY, OR AN EQUIVALENT AS IDENTIFIED BY BD.
