4.2 Signing in and out
The ReadA software application is accessed through the Track GUI. See 2.3.3.1General
application layouts for more detailed information.
The ReadA software application is operated on two user levels:
l
Default user level has access to the most frequently used operations in the application.
l
Advanced user level has access to all default user level operations and additional
operations that are used less often.
Sign in
Select the ReadA module you want to sign into from the Track GUI.
1. If the previous user did not sign out of the session, no login will be required, and you will be
taken directly to the ReadA application.
2. If the previous user did sign out, a sign-in window will display.

Open the virtual keyboard from the Microsoft

Windows

taskbar to enter your
username and password and select OK. See 2.3.3BDKiestra™ ReadA software

3. If the ReadA PC was recently restarted, the ReadA application will need to be opened from
the remote desktop.

Select the shortcut on the desktop to launch the ReadA application.

Sign out
1. There is no need to sign out of the application if you are logged in as a default user. Close
the application by selecting the in the tab at top-middle of the remote access window to
return to the Track GUI.
2. If you are signed in using advanced user credentials, you must sign out and sign back in
using default user credentials.

Select Log off in the application toolbar of the ReadA application to sign out.

Select Log on in the application toolbar of the ReadA application to sign in.

Open the virtual keyboard from the Microsoft

Windows
®
taskbar, enter the default
user credentials, and select OK.
