Component that transfer plates into and out of the ReadA, to and from a Track element.

Light Emitting Diode. An electric light used in modern light fixtures because of its longevity and
efficiency.
LIS
Laboratory Information System. Software that tracks patient and associated test order and
result data for clinical laboratories. Depending on its configuration, the LIS can query and be
queried, and data can be downloaded from it and uploaded to it.

Main Base cabinet
Base cabinet which houses the computer and monitor where the GUI is displayed.
Main lane
Main transport lane that carries a plate across a Track element.
Manipulator
Component in the ReadA incubator that transports plates to and from rack positions.

Plate cart
Movable cart designed to store plates received from the Stacker element.
