10. If a flagging set is not selected for a sample and either a Worklist is not used or a Worklist
is used but the patient’s age (or date of birth) and sex were not entered on it, the
instrument uses the Default Flagging Set as shown above.

Optional Patient/Sample Information (Entered via a Worklist)
1. If a Worklist is used, additional information can be associated with a sample.
a. A Worklist contains sample and patient identification information for specimens
that are pending analysis.
b. Before the sample is analyzed, you can enter or edit patient demographics on the
Worklist.
