1. The Shutdown cycle is one of four automated cycles that draw and dispense reagent to
prime, rinse, or clean the system: Startup, Mini-Clean, Auto-Clean, and Shutdown.
2. The Shutdown cycle is a sequence of Analyzer cycles that:
a. Pull and dispense Rinse reagent into the Analyzer, displacing the Diluent, to clean
the Analyzer and minimize protein buildup.
