8.2 (1.1.4) Start Alarm (for isoHR1685D-925)
8.2 (1.2) Profile
Adapt the area of application of the ISOMETER® to your system profile. For a description of the
profiles, refer to "Device profiles" on page 75.
The following can be selected:
1) not for isoHR1685D-925
8.2 (1.3) Device
Set the ISOMETER® insulation resistance measurement function to active or inactive:
8.2 (1.4) Coupling monitoring (not for isoHR1685D-925)
The ISOMETER® continuously monitors the coupling of energised systems. The coupling of de-
energised systems is monitored at 24-hour intervals. This monitoring function can be activa-
ted or deactivated.
•Start Alarm ON
Device start with alarm message and a measured value of 0 k
•Start Alarm OFF
Device start without alarm message and a measured value of k
•Power circuits Suitable for most IT systems.
•High capacitance Suitable for systems with high leakage capacitances.
Limit of the measuring range: 200 k
•Inverter >10 Hz
1)
Suitable for systems with dynamic frequency control by inverters
in the range of 10…460 Hz.
•Inverter <10 Hz Suitable for systems with extremely low frequency control in the
range of 1…460 Hz.
•Fast 2000 μF
1)
Suitable for systems with very high leakage capacitances, e.g. in
large-scale photovoltaic systems. Limit of the measuring range:
50 k
•Active The device is active.
•Inactive The device DOES NOT measure the insulation resistance and is discon-
nected from the system to be monitored (system disconnection, not
for isoHR1685D-925). The IT system is NOT being monitored!
The message
Device inactive appears on the display.
The ALARM 1 and ALARM 2 LEDs light up.
•on Coupling monitoring is activated.
•off Coupling monitoring is deactivated.
Coupling monitoring in single-pole operation
Coupling monitoring must be deactivated in single-pole operation. (see 8.2
(1.6) "„Single-pole operation“ - isoHV1685D only" on page 46
