3.5.20 Maintenance Menu
The Maintenance Menu includes maintenance functions to test, update and restore settings
to the monitor and BISx.
To display the Maintenance Menu:
1. Press [MENU] to access the menu options.
2. Press [Next] to proceed to the next menu.
3. Press [Next] again to proceed to the third menu.
4. Press [Maintenance Menu]. The Maintenance Menu appears.
Use of the Maintenance Menu is covered in Section 7, “Diagnostics and Troubleshooting.”
3.5.21 Demo Case
To access Demo Case:
1. Press [MENU].
2. Press [Next] to go to the next menu.
3. Press [Next] to go to the third menu.
4. Press [Demo Case] to go to the Demo Case Menu.
This option allows the user to run a demonstration case. Press the [Demo Case] touch key
to initiate a Demo Case. The Main Screen appears, with the heading, “Demo Case.” To stop
the demonstration, follow the instructions above to access the [Demo Case] touch key and
press the touch key.
Note: The Demo Case function uses pre-stored simulated case data. It should not be
used during patient monitoring at any time.
3.5.22 Diagnostic Menu
To display the Diagnostic Menu:
1. Press [MENU] to access the menu options.
2. Press [Next] to proceed to the next menu.
3. Press [Next] again to proceed to the third menu.
4. Press [Diagnostic Menu]. The Diagnostic Menu appears.
