Maintenance
7.4 Lubrication
- Machine „OFF“ for all lubricating work.
- Lubricate more frequently if necessary, until all
lubricating points have been provided with lubricant.
- Prior to commissioning after a longer period of
standstill, lubricate the whole machine and perform
maintenance work.
- Do not mix lubricants. This would alter their
properties and can result in mechanical
breakdown.
- Observe storage and disposal instructions.
Lubricating points
- Always leave slightly lubricated all bright machine
parts, racks, threaded spindles and guide beads.
- Clean grease nipple before lubricating.
Positions of manual lubrication points
See 7.4.1 lubrication.
Recommended lubricants
See table on the next page.
In case of trouble with lubricants, please contact the
lubricant manufacturer or the manufacturer´s
technical service. They will inform and advise you.
Storage of lubricants
- In clean, closed containers.
- At a dry and dust-free place.
