1.7.3 Checking EMERGENCY-OFF button, interlock switch and light barrier
Check the EMERGENCY-OFF button and the light
barrier:
- daily before start of work,
- after each retooling of the machine,
- after repairs of the electronics.
Checking the EMERGENCY-OFF button:
* switch on the main switch (1),
* push button ((2) at the control cabinet),
button is illuminated,
* actuate the EMERGENCY-OFF button,
button is not longer illuminated,
* pull out again the EMERGENCY-OFF button,
* push button (2),
button (2) is illuminated,
* Clear the message at the display.
Checking the interlock switch:
* open the interlock,
* set the machine to „Manual mode“ (see separate programming instructions),
* actuate button for „Lower die“ (the machine must not travel).
Checking the light barrier:
* Cover the reflector, (the machine must stop),
Message at the display: light barrier interrupted,
* actuate button (2),
the light barrier is enabled again,
* Clear the message at the display.
1.8 Follow the instructions below when erecting the machine
* Lay connections (cables, hoses, tubes etc.) between the parts of the machine so
that tripping will be avoided.
* Sources of danger between Boschert machines and equipment of the customer
must be safeguarded by the operator.
* Mark off the areas at the sides of the machine. (see space assignment plan, chapter
„Drawings / Part lists 11.2).
