Precautions for use
RECOMMENDATIONS
Installation and starting
• Do not place the edger near or on top of a source of energy (radiator or heater).
• Make sure your voltage source corresponds to the voltage specified on the identification
plate, locatedat the rear of the machine.
• If the machine is not going to be used for a long period of time you should unplug the power
cords from the wall outlet.
Performance of a job
1. Clean the frames in the ultrasonic cleaner before tracing.
2. Use new adhesives.
3. Change the blocks regularly. Their lifespan is 100 blocking operations.
4. Close the visor regularly to ensure it is automatically rinsed (this starts automatically when the
visor is closed for more than 5 minutes).
CAUTION
Do not use any type of spray hose to clean your system. Avoid any heavy splashing or
spraying that may penetrate the system's scanning and keyboard/interface. This can
cause electrical damage to the system.
Never use chemical solvents, agents or derivatives of such products as:
Acetone
Trichlorethylene
Benzene
Kerozene
Lighter Fluid or
any product bearing the notice "Do not use on plastic or painted surfaces".
any product with a CHLORINE, AMMONIA or SODA base.
These products directly or even by their simple vapors:
risks altering the structure of synthetic materials used.
Usage of any of these materials WILL VOID ANY GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY OF THE
WHOLE UNIT OR ITS COMPONENTS.
Never manipulate the lens feeler pliers located in the edging station.
THE MANUFACTURER CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED
BY THE USE OF THE EDGER IF THE SAFETY REGULATIONS AND THE PRECAUTIONS
FOR USE ARE NOT OBSERVED.
