Tracing a frame shape
Procedure
Follow the steps below to trace a frame shape.

Before tracing, clean the frame in the ultrasonic cleaner.
Insert the frame into the Scanform™ as follows:
• bring the jaw-opening plate towards you and keep
the jaws in the open position;
• place the top of the frame in the upper clips of the
Scanform™;
• push back the plate and let it go off making sure
that the bottom of the frame is placed between the
lower clips;
Result:
the frame is held.

Make sure that the joints of the eye wires to be traced are
properly closed.
