5 Pressing the [UNIT] key repeatedly from the
mass display switches the display to “d”.
Note that“g” also appears during weight
measurement in air.
6 Press the [O/T] key.
7 Place the sinker on the balance pan.
8 When the stability mark appears, press the
[CAL] key.
9 Place the sinker on the immersed hanging pan.
The display shows the density of the sample.
“dSP oL” may appear when nothing is on the
pan, which is normal.
10 To make the next measurement, unload the
pans, press [CAL], and begin again at Step 5.
x Although the density display shows 4 decimal places, not all of these digits will
stabilize depending on the conditions.
x When the sinker is placed in the sample liquid, it must be completely
immersed and must not have bubbles adhering to its surface or the immersed
hanging pan.
