1.Releaseallpressureinthehydraulicreservoir.See
"releasingpressureinthehydraulicsystem".
2.Placeareceptacleofasuitablecapacityunderthe
drainplug.
3.Openthedrainvalveonthebottomofthereservoir
anddrainthesedimentandwateraccumulatedatthe
bottomofthereservoir.
4.Afterdraining,closethedrainvalve.
5.Addhydraulicoilifnecessary.See"llingthereser-
voir".

Replacingthepilotlter
1.Releaseallpressureinthehydraulicsystem.See"re-
leasingpressureinthehydraulicsystem".
2.Unscrewandremovethelterusingawrench.
3.Coatthesealofthenewlterwithanelmofclean
oil.
4.Installthenewlter.Turnthelteruntilthesealcomes
intocontactwiththelterheadthentightenbyanextra
thirdofaturnbyhand.
