While not in a call, tap Call to open the
contacts list. Tap Recents or Directory
and search for the entry to add to your
Favorites and tap it to open the contact
card.
Tap the star button on the contact card to
favorite the person right away. Or, tap the
More button.

After tapping More, you can toggle
Favorite on or o. Tap anywhere outside
the menu to exit.
To remove an entry from your Favorites, go
to Favorites in the contacts list and repeat
the procedure.
The Favorites is your own shortlist
of contacts you frequently call
or otherwise want to have easy
access to.
Favorites may be populated from
the Recents or Directory lists as
well as from manual entries.
