Information About SPAN
The Switched Port Analyzer (SPAN) feature (sometimes called port mirroring or port monitoring) selects
network traffic for analysis by a network analyzer. The network analyzer can be a Cisco SwitchProbe or other
Remote Monitoring (RMON) probes.
