2.10.13  Notes for DWDM Card Types
2.10.12.2 SAMPLE_TYPE
SAMPLE_TYPE (Table 2-16) describes how the data will be calculated during the sampling period.
2.10.12.3 STARTUP_TYPE
STARTUP_TYPE (Table 2-17) indicates whether an event will be generated when the first valid sample 
is crossing the rising or falling threshold.
2.10.13 Notes for DWDM Card Types
The PM for client port and/or chunk port (OCH) can include both the RMON-managed PM and the 
SONET PM when the client payload is provisioned as 
1GFC/2GFC/10GFC/1GFICON/2GFICON/GIGE/10GIGE for the following cards:
 • MXP_2.5G_10G
 • TXP_MR_10G
 • TXP_MR_2.5G
 • TXP_MR_10E
 • MXP_MR_2.5G
1-HR Performance Parameter Accumulation Interval Length - Every 1 Hours. 
Only applicable to RMON stats.

RAW-DATA The data shown is accumulated starting from the last time the counters are 
cleared. This is only applicable to RMON managed PMs.

variable subtracted by the last sample.

Value Description
RISING Generate the event when the sample is greater than or equal to the rising 
threshold.
FALLING Generate the event when the sample is smaller than or equal to the falling 
threshold.
RISING-OR-LTING Generate the event when the sample is crossing the rising threshold, or it 
is crossing the falling threshold.
