Note • The same examples apply for UPSR_HEAD, UPSR_DROP, UPSR_DC and UPSR_EN which are all 
1-way circuits.
 • The connections are made only to the working path irrespective of which path is currently active.
2.2.10.2 2-Way Circuits
For 2-way circuits all the modes are allowed as shown in Table 2-2 and the same applies for 
UPSR_UPSR and path protection circuit types. In the case of UPSR_UPSR and path protection circuits 
the working path is connected irrespective of which path is currently active.
2.2.10.3 Unmapped AID
As explained in the “2.2.10  Unmapped AID Test Access Point Connections” section on page 2-22, 
connections can be made to an <AID> without a cross-connect on it. The modes supported are MONE, 
SPLTE and LOOPE as shown in Table 2-2.
