2-2 Setting Up the Hardware
The device is shipped in two cartons:
• The larger Main shipping carton contains the Controller, the
Display, an Accessories Kit, and a Media Kit
• The smaller Recorder shipping carton contains the Recorder and
a Recorder Attachments box
Unpack these cartons, as described in the following topics.
Save the cartons and packing materials, in case you ever need to
transport the device later.
Unpacking the Main Shipping Carton
Inspect the Main carton for damage that might have occurred during
shipping. Report any damage to the shipping company.
The Main carton contains four inner boxes:
• The Controller box
• The Display box
• The Accessories Kit box (contained in the Display box)
• The Media Kit box
1. Open the top of the Main carton.
2. Remove the Media Kit first, using the handle in the box.
3. Pull the Controller box from the Main carton.
4. Pull the Display box from the Main carton.

WARNING The shipping cartons are heavy. To avoid injury, use two people to
unpack and position the components.
