4.1 Introduction
This chapter describes the functionality of the HPOD Ethernet (HTTP) Interface. Ethernetbased
RemoteProductManagementoftheHPODisavailableusingtheJ6|COM1port.
To proceed with Ethernetbased Remote Product Management, assump tions are
madethat:
TheHPODisoperatingwiththelatestversionfirmwarefiles.
TheHPODisconnectedtoausersuppliedWindowsbasedPCasfollows:

o The PC is running a terminal emulation program (for operation of the
HPOD remote control Telnet interface) and a compatible web browser
(foroperationoftheHPODWeb ServerInterface).
