TROUBLESHOOTING 6-7
Symptom
◆ After pressing
Start Cutter, the
cutter head rotates
and stops in wrong
position.
◆ Master safety
relay does not ener-
gize.
◆ Measurement
display does not
change value.
Possible cause
The Blade Home proxim-
ity switch failed or the
connection to it is loose.
Guard circuit is open.
E-stop button is pressed
Input from encoder
failed.
Encoder failed.
Solution
Check connections and replace
switch if needed.
Check to see if:
❒ The bushings are in place
❒ The blade guard is closed.
❒ Loose connection to guard
circuit. Tighten connec-
tion.
❒ Guard switch is bad.
Replace switch.
❒ Bussing proximity is bad
replace switch
❒ Pull out E-stop button
Check encoder cable for conti-
nuity. Connect any loose wires.
Replace encoder.
