CUTTER
OPERATIONAL
PROBLEMS
Symptom
◆ Blade speed does
not change when new
speed is entered into
the control.
◆ Cutter mode selec-
tion does not change
cut mode.
◆ The park (home)
position is drifting,
i.e. the blade parks
further away from
the original park
position.
Possible cause
There is a communication
failure between the con-
trol and drive.

The coupling between the
servo motor and the
Micron reducer has
slipped.
The Trantorque coupling
has slipped.
Solution
Check wiring for loose connec-
tions and tighten.
